With its fast
test time and high performance the P630 are very cost-effective in a
fully automated environment. In less than 1 seconds it performs
measurement of 500 different frequency points and tests parameters
as frequency response, sensitivity, polarity, Rub & Buzz, THD,
impedance, resonance, Q and F (Fres/Q). Each test data
from the measurements are saved for future statistics and
post-processing.
The P630
generates sufficient power with the internal power amplifier
to energize all defects from air-gap problems, puffing
sounds, loose particles, constrained voice coil, cabinet
rattling, litze wire clatter, glue problems etc., which
generally speaking are known as Rub & Buzz distortion.
The system consists of a service friendly 19" P600 cabinet with standard sized modules plus a PCI card with 4 x 24 bit A/D & D/A converters and a PCI I/O card to control the cabinet. The cabinet contains protected 15 volt rms. power amplifier, up to 3 different input modules, an as optional a I/O module and microphone power supply.
The software is arranged in four modes, an operator mode, a technician mode, a global set-up mode, and a utility mode, which all are protected by passwords.
The operator mode is for day-to-day production testing of parameters already set-up in the technician mode. This mode is specially designed for non skilled personnel or for fully automated operations.
The P630 Light is as standard equipped with one input. There are as standard four analyzing channels, one for frequency response, one for impedance and two for distortion / Rub & Buzz. Extra inputs (up to six) can be added to the system. Furthermore I/O module and external key-box can be added to enable external control and interfacing.
All necessary hardware, cables and software etc. are included in a standard delivery except for suitable microphones and PC.
